What is Char?
Char is a carbon-rich solid byproduct of the thermochemical decomposition of waste in the absence of oxygen. Looking like coal, though much cleaner, it provides:
- High fixed carbon content
- Low ash and sulfur
- Porous surface for adsorption
- Consistent performance across industries
This suits it perfectly well in clean combustion, filtration, soil regeneration, and metallurgical purposes.

Our premium-grade char is applicable in:
A) Concrete Reinforcement
Char derived from the process enhances concrete properties:
- Improves microstructural density with carbonaceous particle additions
- Increases electromagnetic radiation absorption in cement composites
B) Recovered Carbon Black (RCB)
Can be refined into Recovered Carbon Black that meets ASTM standards, making it a sustainable replacement for Virgin grades of carbon black like N660 and N550.
- Ideal for use in inks, coatings and rubber compounding
C) Activated Carbon Base Material
Serves as a high-quality base for activated carbon, suitable for various industrial uses.
D) Chemical Absorption
Acts as an effective absorbent for the removal of arsenic, copper and zinc from contaminated systems.
